2014년부터 ESL 선생님으로 근무했습니다. 4년은 온라인 수업을 했고 4년동안은 오프라인 수업을 했어요. 저는 TESOL, TEFL 자격증을 보유한 전문 튜터입니다. 한국인 학생들에게 영어를 가르친 지는 6년이 되었고, 정말 다양한 학생들을 가르칠 수 있었어요. 그래서 지금은 한국 문화에 대해서도 잘 알게 되었습니다. 저는 학생들을 가르치는 걸 정말 좋아하고 새로운 학생들을 만나는 것도 정말 좋아해요.

I have been an ESL teacher since 2014. I have 4 years of online ESL experience and also 4 years of offline ESL teaching practice. I also have TESOL and TEFL certifications.
I've been teaching English to Koreans for 6 years now. I have had the opportunity to instruct a wide variety of students coming from different backgrounds. Through that, I became immersed in the Korean culture. I love teaching, enjoy working with and meeting new students, and have the patience and skills to teach them English as a second language.

안녕하세요, 여러분! 저는 튜터 마이카예요. 저는 커뮤니케이션학과를 전공했어요. 저는 노래 듣는 것도 좋아하고, 독서도 좋아해요. 가족들이나 친구들과 영화 보는 것도 좋아하구요. 특히 한국 드라마와 미국 드라마를 보는 걸 좋아해요. 저는 최선을 다해서 학생들이 즐기면서 영어를 배울 수 있도록 도와주고 있어요. 수업에서 저는 학생들이 알기 쉬운 방법으로 영어를 가르쳐주고 학생 개개인에 맞게 수업을 하고 있어요. 학생들이 집중할 수 있게 말이죠. 제 목표는 제 모든 학생들이 자신감을 갖고 영어를 하는 거예요. 여러분! 저와 함께 영어 공부 재미있게 해봐요! 안녕~

Hello students! My name is Emyca Navarro. Just call me Teacher Myca. I graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor's degree in Communication major in Speech Communication and minor in Broadcast Communication. My hobbies are listening to music, reading books, surfing the internet, watching movies and hanging out with my family, friends and pets. I also love watching American TV series and Korean dramas.
I am passionate, patient, and determined in teaching my students learn the English language in the most enjoyable way.
In class, I engage my student with ample information interestingly in a friendly way. I am a flexible teacher that adapts my teaching style according to my student's needs, gives positive encouragement and reinforcement to keep my students focused and motivated. My goal is to help my students gain confidence in using English.
