저는 캐나다에서 살고 있는 자메이칸이에요. 영어가 제 모국어입니다. 저는 2014년에 영어 전문 강사 자격증을 취득했고 태국에서 3년동안 영어를 가르쳐왔어요. 영어를 가르치면서 언어적인 장벽이 존재했지만, 점점 경험을 쌓아갈 수 있었어요. 또, 저는 프랑스어와 태국어도 할 수 있어요. 물론 유창하게는 못 하지만요. 여러분, 새로운 언어를 배우기 위해서는 그 언어에 계속해서 노출되어야해요. 저는 문법과 발음 수업 뿐 아니라 전반적인 영어 유창성을 높이기 위한 수업도 가능하답니다~

I am a Native English speaker in Canada with a Jamaican background. I received my certification to teach English as a Second Language in 2014. I taught English in Thailand for three years and this served as a great opportunity for me to frame my lessons to be sensitive to the language differences, but still manage to meet the objective of imparting new and sustainable language acquisition. Therefore, I have an appreciation for, and experience working with strong accents, tonal differences and complete beginners to the English language. I also speak French and Thai, but certainly not as well as my native language. However, this exposure helps me to understand the difficulties students face in learning a new language. My specializations include tutoring in English grammar, conversational fluency and pronunciation.
