TUTORING

학생들을 가르치는 일은 정말 보람차는 일이라고 생각해요. 저는 어린 학생부터 성인 학생까지 다양한 학생들을 가르쳤어요. 저는 학생들이 자신감을 갖도록 도와주고 있어요. 저는 선생님으로서 학생들을 이해하고 수업에 대해서 이해하려고 노력하고 있어요. 이건 쉽지 않은 일이지만 정말 중요한 일이라고 생각해요. 이렇게 학생들을 가르치고 하루를 마치면, 정말 뿌듯하더라구요.

Teaching is a very rewarding job and a valuable career. I have had many educational interactions with children and adults. I have learned to focus on building my student's self-esteem and confidence early enough because self-confidence was linked to everything else either in the classroom or out in the community. Understanding ourselves as teachers helps us to better determine how we relate to students, policies and practices that we use in the classroom or online and this is not an easy task. But at the end of the day, it feels good to be able to share something to others.

Chances for success, empathy, and discovery are abundant. Inspiration is everywhere you look. The opportunity to be better than you were yesterday is right here, right now. I’m a learner too. We need to support each other in that. Even teachers like me are always learning. That’s the shared journey that connects teachers to their students. If we are all learning together, we are making terrific progress.
