In my previous employment at HCIS High School International School, I had my Science teaching experience in teaching Cambridge Science to students from Year 3 to Year 6. I collaborate with the Science team and academic department in implementing projects such as an Inter-school Science Experiment Competition “Project X” where we trained students to create experiments and explain them through using the Scientific Method. It has been very successful in uniting different schools in Mandalay, Myanmar.
At the English School of Mongolia, I was a Primary Homeroom Teacher, I regularly communicated with the students’ parents regarding their progress in their studies and taught six main subjects including English, Maths, Science, Topic, PSHE, and ICT in my first year of teaching. I have the experience in teaching the British National Curriculum and the knowledge and experience in the Primary Years Programme (PYP) as well.
In the next academic year of my teaching in my previous employment, the school started introducing the Primary Years Programme with the Unit of Inquiry as part of the curriculum. I became a Grade Level Coordinator. I also manage Junior school presentation, musical production, and collaborate with the teaching team with regards to the lessons to be implemented and supervise the students inside the school premises. My expertise, however, is in evaluating students (in verbal and written form) by recording their progress and preparing them for their assessment tests.
