Hi there! My name is Janis and it's a pleasure to meet you and be your tutor. I have many years of experience as an English tutor after I moved to South Africa from the USA in 2018. My father was also an English teacher in Korea in the 80s, so I guess you could say the job runs in the family.
My mother speaks English as her second language, making me a very compassionate and understanding teacher when it comes to learning a new language. I encourage my students to participate as much as possible and not be afraid to make mistakes. We can build confidence together!
