I like to cater my lessons to each student’s needs rather than a universal English lesson. I would rather get to know a student better so I can figure out what they need help with. It could range from conversational English, grammar, accents, pronunciation, and other English subjects. From my teaching experience, I find it most helpful to slow down the pace and allow students time to respond in English. I plan my lessons to be mostly interactive between teacher and student, rather than a lesson plan where students quietly take notes.
